Melissa
Office Coordinator
Melissa relocated to the Okanagan in 2011 from Surprise, Arizona. She is originally from Nova Scotia, which is where in 1999 she received her training as a Dental Assistant. Melissa works as a lead chairside assistant, and also enjoys helping out in the administration area, helping co-ordinate all of your treatment needs. She is an extremely valuable member of our team and is certain to help you out in any way. She and her husband Craig met in high school in 1997 and have recently expanded their family. Their son Liam was born in January 2011 and their daughter Maizie was born in January 2014. They enjoy all the beautiful weather and outdoor activities, like camping, that the Okanagan has to offer, and therefore plan on making Lake County their forever home.
Cindy
Certified Dental Assistant
Cindy is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and has been with the practice for 12 years. She has extensively continued her studies through continuing education in a variety of advanced aspects of dentistry and is eager to share her knowledge with our patients. Cindy was raised in the Okanagan and enjoys all the great outdoor activities in our area. As well as a CDA, she has additional training as a K9 Oral Hygiene Specialist and can be found all over the Okanagan doing professional doggy teeth cleaning.
Breanne
Certified Dental Assistant
Breanne graduated in 2012 from the Certified Dental Assisting program at the University of the Fraser Valley. With four years of experience in the dental field, Breanne is dedicated to providing positive, relaxing and friendly experience to all patients making. She enjoys educating patients in transforming their smiles and building rapport with patients to help them feel more at ease in the dental chair. Breanne is new to the Okanagan and has fallen in love with the area. In her spare time you can find Breanne, hiking, biking, or working out at the gym.
Kelsey
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kelsey graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Okanagan College in 2011 and in 2020 she graduated with honors from the Toronto, College of Dental Hygiene. Having spent 10+ years in the dental profession, Kelsey new that she was doing exactly what she loves. She enjoys meeting new people and getting to know each of her clients better, one appointment at a time. Always smiling and gentle, she will ease your dental worries.
Having spent most of her earlier years in the Okanagan, Kelsey is no stranger to the endless hikes, mountains and lakes that the landscape has to offer.
When she is not working as a full time Dental Hygienist at Winfield Dental Centre, Kelsey enjoys spending her time in Vernon B.C. where she resides soaking up the sun while biking, hiking and exploring new towns with her partner Jorge.
